The APC led Government over the past 8 years + have only succeeded in stagnating Nigerians and Nigeria, if not regressed. 🇳🇬
There are consequences for every good or bad actions taken by an individual, in this case, APC have often taken the most terrible decisions on behalf of Nigerians.
Selfishness and greed of just a few!
HOW DID THEY TAKE NIGERIANS BACK TO STONE AGE?
1. USAGE OF kerosene lantern 🏮, candles 🕯as primary source of Illumination : It’s no news that most Nigerians can’t afford to power their households with the generator sets due to the crazy price of Petrol ⛽.
In fact, if you come outside your neighborhood at night, you’d be surprised at the darkness greeted by lack of no electricity.
As a matter of fact, if you manage to buy a litter of Petrol to power your Generator, the entire neighborhood would start suspecting you for doing “Yahoo Yahoo” because they can’t understand where you got your Petrol from. So, most people are unanimously in darkness…. 😂
Can you imagine, kerosene lanterns and candles 🕯 have resurfaced after over 30 years of going into extinction.

Are the candles even cheap?… Nope but people have no option.
Are the kerosenes cheaper?. Nope
2. Back to usage of Fire 🔥 wood, Kerosene stove, saw dust etc in cooking :
I angrily hear some persons saying, cooking gas is now cheap…DEFINE CHEAP FOR ME PLEASE.
In Awka, Anambra state, 1kg of Cooking gas is around 750naira per kG. It could be lesser in lagos or other places to around 600 per kg.
So, that’s their own definition of being cheap? In a country that have Massive NaNatural gas in abundance such that they flair it? Cooking gases are supposed to be free in Nigeria if we have good leadership…. “Tụfịakwa”!
Now, see what happens in Nigeria:
Increase any price of any commodity, let’s say from 200 naira to 1,500naira, Nigerians would wail for 1 week and the price might be reduced to 750 naira and they say, thank God it’s now cheaper.
NNPC increased fuel to 540/ltr after the infamous utterance of “fuel subsidy is gone”…. Nigerians wailed… I doubt how many people bought Full tank thereafter.
NNPC increased the price again to 612/ltr and i saw Nigerians queuing on that day to buy at 540/ltr full thank, shouting, “THANK GOD, I GOT IT CHEAPER”… 😂
That’s how crazily manipulated they have succeeded in making Nigerians feel.
No price goes back to original or even lesser in Nigeria after hiking..
3. Nigerians have started buying Bicycles 🚲 to use as means of Transportation as most park their cars : Can you have a feel of 1970? Some are claiming that it’s good form of exercise…. 😂 😊… Of course, we’re all training for 2026 London Olympics.
We’re regressing…… Bicycles are back! Can most people even afford Bicycles even if they want?
How much is Keke in Nigeria…? Over a million… 😂 Tricycle.
4. Prio to the Elections, they almost returned Nigerians to the TRADE BY BARTER period…. All thanks to Emefiele and Buhari.
5. Electricity is now as erratic as ever…. Darkness hovers Nigeria at Night… The only advantage is the serenity Nigerians enjoy at Night due to lesser noise of Generators.
Premium Darkeness returned…!!
Aside the aforementioned bullet points, there are so many crude things Nigerians are made to return back to due to Incompetent leadership.
