Anambra state government Installs metallic gate At Onitsha head Bridge, Amansea ( video)

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has installed metallic gates at both entrances of Onitsha Head bridge and Amansea/Enugu border.

The fight against COVID-19 infiltration into states has taken a new turn as most state Governors are trying to outdo another.

You’d recall that Governor Wike of River State Supervised the Demolition of Hotels, bars, others in Rivers (images) that violated his lockdown order.

Surprisingly, when state government Governors should be finding a way to relax the border closures to ease movements, Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has installed a heavy gate at both pedestrian Bridge and motorists parts of the famous Onitsha head bridge which happens to be the only major entrance into the eastern part of Nigeria.

As expected, many people have different views about this action by the state government.

Now, the big question is, why are they really doing this? Till when would this end?  COVID-19 is already declared an Endemic, meaning its end is never coming any time soon……. In a time these Governors should be thinking of a way to live with this *so-called* COVID-19, they are busy building more gates and barricades….. This is so funny as the resultant effects of these endless lockdown would only show very soon. 

Oh, i remember, it takes lagos state government 50k to test a single individual as against 10k per individual the Federal Government alleged to be spending……. 

Obviously, this business venture isn’t ending any time soon…
