[dropcap]A[/dropcap]midst all the unfortunate and avoidable mishaps/untold hardship meted to the poor Nigerians by the greedy and insatiable Oil marketers last December, at least, some selfless marketers still stood out and never joined in such gruesome exploits.
Today, jkcyno’s blog chose to celebrate this man with a heart of Gold and selflessness. In a country where everything goes, where you would wake up only to find out that your date of birth has been increased by the government without notice. A country with one ceremonial president with more 20 different self-instituted presidents….. Unfortunate “shitholes” as Trump would call them.
Needless regurgitating your pains or reminding you of the excruciating agony these Oil marketers and the so-called Petroleum ministry caused Nigerians since December, 2017….yet, none has been probed, no licence is revoked and no sanction issued…..
NLC have gone awol, all mouths are muted…. No streets were occupied and no single protest was noticed….. “nsogbu adịrọ”
Petrol pump price experienced the highest hike and irregularity ever at the watch of Buhari… We all witnessed the pump price rose to above 300 naira /litre and till today, everyone keeps selling as their ancestors suggest…..
In Anambra state,Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu, CEO, STANEL Petroleum Ltd refused to join the queue of greedy marketers. Whilst others were busy scooping money with parkers, selling petrol at 250 and above, Stanel kept selling at 145 without any regrets. He swore never to exploit the already exploited poor Anambrarians/Nigerians. He did not only sell Petrol at the official price of 145/litre but made sure it was readily available at all times with a meter where a litre equals a litre.
Of course, the queue was unbearably overwhelming but at least, some people stayed put and bought at the stipulated pump price.
Does it mean STANEL never likes money? Could it be that he would suddenly become poor since he didn’t join the rest evil marketers?….. Could it be that he’s the richest Oil marketer in Anambra state?….
Nope, he only chose to do the right thing..
Shame on every single oil marketer that made people pay as high as N17,000 per head just to travel from Lagos to Anambra state.
Shame on other big marketers that refused to join STANEL to stop this evil.. Shame on all of you as posterity would judge you all.
Did you see any column dedicated to the double Flagged President and Minister of Petroleum?…. No need… He simply has lost it and care less if we die or live.
God bless you Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu.. Nigeria needs just five of your type in the Oil and gas industry….much difference would be made.
Even when they don’t recognise your uncommon act, people like us do…..
Keep keeping on…. We are proud of you.
