Senator Nenadi Usman Appointed Labour Party Acting National Caretaker Chairman, Replaces Julius Abure

Senator Senator Nenadi Usman has been appointed as the acting National Caretaker Chairman of the Labour Party, taking over from Julius Abure, whose tenure has officially ended.

This new role places Usman at the helm of one of Nigeria’s prominent political parties during a crucial period of transition and organizational restructuring.

In her new capacity, Nenadi will oversee the party’s activities and strategic direction, stepping into a position that carries significant responsibility.

Her appointment follows a period of intense scrutiny and change within the Labour Party, highlighting the importance of effective leadership as the party navigates its future.

The transition comes amid praise for the party’s previous leadership, including figures like Peter Obi, Alex Oti, and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who have been recognized for their impactful contributions.

She was a former finance minister in Nigeria and senator who gave her all during the 2023 general elections for the Labour Party and the Obidients
