Rufai Oseni Blasts Hypocritical elites in Nigeria

Renowned journalist and broadcaster, Rufai Oseni has declared all those who protested against bad governance in 2012 and refuse to take the same step in the current government as hypocrites.

Rufai pointed fingers at pastors and professors who spoke against the government of Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 to show themselves. He questioned their silence asking if Nigeria is better today.

Rufai made this statement in a post he shared on his X handle on Sunday.

He wrote, “All the people that protested against bad governance in 2012 and can’t speak up today are hypocrites.

“Is Nigeria better today, where are the pastors and professors that condemned Jonathan in 2012.”

Reacting to his post, X users has however shared their opinion on the issue.

PadeAyéni☆ tweeted, “The 2012 activists are now ‘advisers & ministers’ to the Tinubu APC govt, collecting salaries & busy picking the meat of corruption from btw their teeth with toothpicks.

“They’re all hypocrites especially Wole Soyinka and pastor Adeboye, another twitter user Jkrozz_g922 wrote.

Ichie Fernando Ji Atu Noonu Iheanacho Ezekweche 1 tweeted, “They’re not cowards. They’re actually thieves from the begining.

“From E. A. Adebayo to Mr. Wole Soyinka,” Her Excellency tweeted.
