Peter Obi attends Kellog Alumni Club Business Luncheon (pictures)

The birthday celebrant yesterday, Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi spent major of his day yesterday attending to some events in lagos which includes visit to Onikan stadium to support a young Nigerian vying to break a Guinness world record, attending the funeral of Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s mother to ending it at Alumi event of Kellogg.

He wrote below :

“After the funeral service of Late Florence Morenike Saraki, the mother of a former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, in Lagos yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending The Kellog Alumni Club of West Africa Business Luncheon at the US Consul General’s Residence in Lagos.

While there, I had the opportunity of interacting with some young talented Nigerians who are also alumni of the Kellog School of Management. The event comprised an interactive session, with one of young Nigeria’s successful entrepreneurs, Tega Oghenejobo,

the Chief Operating Officer at Mavin Records, who shared the experiences, challenges and success stories of his entrepreneurship journey. I also listened to other young entrepreneurs who shared their experiences.

While it can be very challenging surviving in the very unstable socio-political and economic environment of the country, one cannot take away the resilient and determined spirit and drive for success shown by young Nigerians.
