Finidi We Hail thee, Our Dear Native Coach – Nigerians React

With the grappling challenges ravaging Nigerians, Super Eagles Shameful defeat to Benin Republic in a 2-1 victory earlier today has added more salt to injury.

You’d recall that NFF sacked Jose Peseiro that took Nigeria 🇳🇬 to the finals of the CAF nations cup and decided to replace him with a coach that has no single pedigree as a coach with International coaching experience, Finidi George.

After today’s defeat, Super Eagles may as well kiss their World cup qualifications goodbye and goodnight.

That’s missing out in two consecutive world cups.

The somehow confused NIGERIAN team recited two different NATIONAL ANTHEMS in two different matches…. Arise o Compatriots today, Nigeria we hail the two days ago…

The ancestors are confused on which to work with…. 😂

Below are what Nigerians are saying on Twitter..

“Nigerians will see the best man for a job and chose nonsense then come and be complaining..

I don’t even blame Finidi George,.what was his pedigree before he was given this job? Nigerians should learn to chose the best individual always. #Nationwide sadness because of Finidi George and his team.”

“Finidi George may have lost some games, but he is a Master Strategist. We don’t actually need his legs to play for the Super Eagles, we only need his brain

He will build Naija team just like he built Enyimba. I have screenshot your concerns, & I will take your tweets to his son.”

” Finidi George is a recruiter of talents, & has made many footballers become stars. He doesn’t sleep until 4am; he is taking the difficult decisions that other coaches couldn’t take. Please give him time.”

“Finidi George is doing his best, but the Super Eagles have a spiritual problem.

Call on God, football is hard.

Whether FIFA like it or not, Nigeria will qualify for the World Cup.”

“I will only speak on Finidi George when he has clocked 1 year as the head coach.

That has always been my practice.”
