His Excellency, Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi has charged the U-20 female Football team to go all out to win the All African tournament ongoing in Ghana.
He wrote thus :
“I rejoice with and congratulate Nigeria’s U-20 female football team, the Falconets, for their impressive performance so far at the ongoing 13th African Games in Ghana. Our dear U-20 female team has maintained very exceptional outings throughout the tournament.
As they set out to take on the host nation and our African neighbours – Ghana, in the finals, I encourage them to hold on to their tenacity and winning spirit. Nigerians are solidly behind them, and I urge them to maintain their confidence and energy level.
