Resume of Ministerial candidate in India Vs Nigeria

Nigerians are becoming politically aware by the day as more questions are being asked about the quality of the people leading them.

It’s really absurd that the crop of leaders in Nigeria are inadvertently reducing the bar or importance of education so insignificantly that if nothing is done, people would rather ignore going to school or attaining academic excellence.

A CV of one of the bogus 48 names Tinubu submitted to the National Assembly for screening got our attention when we made a comparison with a minister’s resume in India.

My brothers and sisters in the lord… A minister in Nigeria’s qualification is SSCE… How on earth did we get to this level?

His highest work experience is class room teacher?

Probably, primary school teacher?

Which ministery would he be ministering?

Would you be surprised if he becomes minister for Power and Housing?

We joke a lot in this nation.

Great Nnamdi Azikiwe, Awolowo etc, the founding fathers priorized education and academic excellence.

Today, they said even if Buhari presented a NEPA bill, it was ok.

Such a joke of a country.

This is a disgrace to all the GRADUATES in this country.

There is no part of this nation you wouldn’t see sound and qualified individuals assuming competence is the criteria for their selection.

Nepotism and bigotry is their main yardstick for selection and compensation for helping them to rig election.

Until we wake up and stop all these rascality, this great nation would keep breeding and basking in mediocrity
