The Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom for the Umpteenth time never made secret his preference for Peter Obi over Atiku Abubakar showered some words of praises and prayers for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party who spent Christmas with the IDPs in Benue state (pictures).
Ortom, who was visibly emotional expressed delight and highlighted that he had received most presidential candidates and none had deemed it fit to visit his people languishing in the IDP camps. He stated that Peter Obi decided not to rest or spend his Christmas day with his family but rather chose to spend it with the internally displaced persons in Benue state.
In his words, “if i were not in the PDP, I would have been following you around the country to canvas for vote because you represent hope for the people of Nigeria”.
“May God make your Presidential aspirations successful, he prayed.”
