All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader and presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Monday, visited St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, the scene of a deadly attack on worshippers, on Sunday.
Tinubu, who was accompanied by Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, donated N50 million towards the treatment of victims of the attack, and N25 million to the catholic church.

Scores of the victims who were injured in the incident are currently receiving treatment at Federal Medical Center, Owo.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the Palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, Tinubu condemned the violent attack on innocent worshippers.

He promised to work with Akeredolu to bring succour to the victims of the attack.
Tinubu described the attack as an evil that must be defeated, saying “there is no place for such hatred and wanton taking of innocent lives in our country.”
