A Seminarian Slumped and Died While acting the Passion of Christ drama on #GoodFriday.

The entire Claretian University of Nigeria Community, Nekede-Owerri, Imo state was thrown into confusion and mourning yesterday when Brother Sule Ambrose, a Claretian seminarian who played the role of Simon Peter, slumped and fell on the concrete floor moments after he said;

“Jesus, I will die with you today”.

Initially, When he fell down, it was thought to be a part of the drama, by the time he was rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead.

Upon hearing the news of the demise of her son, his mother slumped and died too. Brother Sule Ambrose hailed from Benue state.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
