Airpeace issues press release explaining the purported fare hike in Anambra airport

Following the Recent approval the Anambra State Government got from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to begin operations on the Anambra International Cargo and Passengers Airport, Air Peace had in a Press Statement disclosed it’s readiness to commence flight operations into the airport.

 

In a Press Statement issued on Saturday by it’s spokesperson Stanley Olisa and made available Newsmen, Air Peace stated stated that Anambra people can now fly directly from Lagos and Abuja into the Umueri located Airport, adding that the airline would kick-off on Tuesday December 7 2021 with four flights per week. He stated that for a start, they shall be operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and to increase as operations gains more grounds.

Anambrarians who had gone to access the site to book their tickets had bitterly complained and expressed their disappointments over the high prices of Air Peace flights into the Newly Approved Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport in Anambra State.

Reacting to this, the management of Air Peace had disclosed that there was never any hike or increment whatsoever in their ticket prices. Air Peace had explained that the company does not discriminate in any way and that their prices ranges from 23,00 to 60,000 which is the highest Economy Class Fare.
