Since the advent of this novel coronavirus in Nigeria, the government has cared so less about what ever her citizens could produce locally rather, they have solely depended on patronizing the foreign markets as against home made. Prio to the importation of several ventilators from abroad, a vehicle manufacturing company, INNOSON had offered to produce some ventilators for Nigerian health workers. That request died on its arrival as Government gave it a deaf ear.
Aba, a city in Abia state has proven to be the China of Africa in all ramifications. They would simply mass produce using your given specifications. Quite unfortunately, both the state and federal government of Nigeria has never taken these sets of brilliant chaps any seriously.
Recently, a cloth making company based in Aba, Abia state, named BEYOND CLOTHING has ventured into PPE production. These PPEs are beautifully made using the specific standards required.
Africa is really blessed, Nigerians are really awesome. Aba people are simply ingenious…….
Can the government of Nigeria look towards these people for once?

How will FG and State governments Patronize them. When the cost implications will be known to Nigerian. They prefer taking our no available little resources abroad because of kickback on the importation.
And Moreso, they do not believe in themselves talkless of others. When it’s time, we’ll sort things out by ourselves.
