Catholic Priest from Anambra State Killed.

AN INDIGENOUS PRIEST FROM IGBOUKWU IN AWKA DIOCESE, ANAMBRA STATE LOOSES HIS LIFE TO THE COLD ARMS OF DEATH, LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF HIS ORDINATION–

–“HE WAS KILLED FOR PREACHING THE GOSPEL”–

Rev Fr Okafor Donatus or as he is popularly called, Father Chimezie was murdered while preaching the holy gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fr Chimezie who hails from Ezihu village, Ihite Quarter of Igboukwu before his death was a Catholic priest who began his mission to be a priest in 1992 and completed it in 2017

Fr Chimezie after his ordination was sent to go propagate the gospel in Cameroon where he crowned his thirst for Christ with his blood.

He was killed for propagating the gospel a for Christ and we hope this loss would bring redemption to the Catholic Faithfuls in his place of assignment.

Father Donatus even though he knew how volatile the place he was serving was, still went on to do God’s work diligently, knowing fully well that God is the only one who gives and takes lives.

Details of his killing would be made public once released…

It’s just a pity.

May His soul continue to rest with the Lord.
