Two Worlds – Episode 6

Moving into my new mansion was a dream come true for me and having my privacy is something I’ve always dreamt of. And you know what? My little cousin cried her eyes out because she wanted to come stay with me. Her wish was granted and my sweet little cousin of 12 moved in with me. We are like 5 and 6 and she is so brilliant.

That day Amanda came to my house after the house warming party to stay a little with me. I wondered why she didn’t show up at the party. She had bruises on her face and when I asked she said “I had a fall”. Well that’s not my business and after everyone was gone she made her way to my room. Before I could clean up and come upstairs she was already wearing my extra large T shirt and lying on my bed. I was disturbed. First of all she didn’t show up when others did and now she just went to my own personal room to cool off. Of all 5 rooms in the mansion why my own room.

I came in to question her and she quickly jumped on my body and started to try to kiss me. Well I allowed the kiss but that was where it ended. She tried to go beyond that but I stopped her. “Amanda I don’t understand you at all. You can’t just come to my house and then come to my room like that. It’s my privacy for God’s sake.” but she smiled and said “this is the perfect house for our future family and for you and I” and she went to the kitchen to fix herself dinner. I was totally confused and as she left I quickly took her phone and tried to unlock it to see what really she is trying to hide from me. I tried a number of different codes but it wasn’t working and just then I heard a voice say “it’s Amy1992″…

I looked up and saw my little cousin sister. “how did you know her code” I asked smiling and she tip toed to where I was seated and said “it’s a combination of her name and her birth year”… I tried it and it worked. I quickly went to her message inbox and my eyes couldn’t believe what I saw. Amanda had another guy and she just had a serious fight with him. She had aborted a pregnancy belonging to the guy. And I saw threatening messages like “that rich dude you’re leaving me for would suffer the very pain I’m going through now. You had better stay off him or you will end up sending him to an early grave. You’re a harlot”…

I quickly locked the phone and then I and my cousin left the room to the sitting room. I sat thinking of what to do next. Then she emerges from the kitchen holding a plate of Noddles with chicken and a wine. I stood up and went straight to her and told her “hey Amanda you can’t spend the night here pls. Besides you didn’t come with your car and then you’re acting in a suspicious way. Please after having dinner you can go upstairs and wear your cloth and leave pls.

I and my cousin would drop you off and besides we intend going to the movies”… She smiled and angrily left the food and went upstairs, wore her dress and without saying a word she left. I ran after her to offer her a ride back home but she pushed me away. Well I was glad she left. I went back to the kitchen and took some chicken and some cakes and wine too and I and my cousin drove to Miss Ijeoma’s place to see my sweetheart Amara and her family.

On seeing me she jumped on me and gave me my first kiss. Wow! Ijeoma just smiled and took the bag I came with from me to see its content. Amara then tried to hide her face because she was shy. I drew her close to me and said “babe we are going to the movies tonight” and she smiled and quickly ran to wear something. Her mom came from the room singing and praising God on I and Ijeoma’s behalf… “pls help me thank this girl they call Ijay, she is so amazing and she is an angel. God will bless you too” I wanted that night to be a very special night for myself and Amara.

She has passed through alot. My little cousin sister understood and decided to stay put with Amara’s family while I took Amara out. We went to the cinema to see my favorite movie “love don’t cost a thing” she smiled through out the movie and she held my hands through out the movie. After then we left to have dinner in a restaurant. She was so happy and although she had no make up on her she looked so beautiful. After dinner as we entered the car to drive home Amara held my hand and said “I’ll always love you no matter what and I’ll do whatever I can to prove my love for you” and then she kissed me passionately that night. Then we drove back to Ijeoma’s place.

I called all of them together and I decided that they would all go back to school. Her siblings were so happy and they kept jumping up and down. I arranged for a private tutor for Amara to prepare her for Waec. This was yet the happiest day of my life. I wish it never ended. It was already past 10pm and we needed to go home to catch some sleep especially because my cousin would be going to school the next day. As we drove home my little cousin held my hand so tight and she said “brother I am so proud of you. You’re a great person and I love you very much”…

When my cousin was asleep I then went downstairs to clean up the house and everything we used for the party. As I cleaned them I kept thinking to myself “I am having the best time of my life and this would never stop”…i smiled all through. This night is a night I’ll never forget. And as this was going through my mind I heard the door bell ring and as I was still wondering who would be in my place at past 11pm my cousin walked past me and went to open the door.

What!!! I thought this little angel was far deep in her sleep and as she opened the door lo and behold Amara walks into my sitting room. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I stood as if I’ve seen a ghost. I opened my mouth but couldn’t utter a word. She quietly walked up to me and gave me a peck while she took the towel I was using to clean from my hands and continued Cleaning. My little cousin then walks up to me smiling “you know I’ll do anything to make you happy. I want this to be your best night ever.

And you deserve the best brother. I’ll be in my own room and I have arranged your room for you. I did that as soon as you left me thinking I was sleeping. I gave her the house address and I know she would come. Enjoy your night brother and pls Remember to wake me early for school tomorrow”… Then she turned and went to her room. I was still lost in the moment when I got a text from Ijeoma which said “hey bestie, sorry I didn’t tell you before now.

I called my Uber driver to bring Amara to your house because she really wanted to come plus your little cousin made all the plans too. Goodnight dear”… I hope I’m not dreaming. Amara then turned to me and said “baby pls let’s clean up everywhere so we can sleep on time”…

Yeah! This was really my best night. No words or pictures could paint it better. It was going to be a long and endless night for me. And you know what? “THE REAL HOUSE WARMING Just GOT STARTED”… Goodnight…
