Tinubu’s Government is Undemocratic, Must be forced out – NADECO

The Executive Director of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) USA, Lloyd Ugwu, has revealed the organization’s objective to legally oust Bola Ahmed Tinubu from power and prevent the continuation of his administration before the 2027 elections.

The Executive Director disclosed this movement in a recent X virtual Space gathering titled “NADECO’s rescue mission on Nigeria’s democracy with well-meaning Nigerians,” he asserted that Tinubu’s government is undemocratic.

Ugwu, while addressing the space, vehemently expressed concerns about the alleged undemocratic practices in Tinubu’s government, asserting that his rise to power involved rigging and different forms of election malpractice.

Ugwu stated, “The goal is flush out Bola Ahmed Tinubu legally and should not remain president of Nigeria, since he got into into power through fraud.”

“The emergency of his government is not democratical,” he added.

During the session, American Lawyer and international law expert, Bruce Fein detailed the legal steps to safeguard Nigeria’s democracy and challenge Tinubu’s administration. Fein proposed initiating a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain unredacted documents from the FBI, alleging Tinubu’s involvement in drug trafficking.

Fein emphasized bypassing the judiciary, citing its perceived alignment with the Executive arm of government. He also recommended conducting interviews and issuing letters to expose Tinubu’s alleged lack of legal election.

David Adenekan, Publicity Secretary of NADECO USA and Editor-in-chief of Habari Network Diaspora news, underscored the importance of allowing the people to choose their government, asserting that Tinubu’s financial influence should not suppress the will of the Nigerian people.

Professor Monday Gold, President of the Ijaw Diaspora Council, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the will of the Nigerian people supersedes any form of tyrannical government. The collective effort of NADECO USA, coupled with legal strategies proposed by experts, signals a formidable challenge to Tinubu’s administration and a commitment to upholding democratic principles in Nigeria.
