The Hopelessness of a country called Nigeria

Nigeria, the once beautiful bride to the world, the Big brother of African continent, the self acclaimed Giant of Africa is currently a shadow of itself.

How the mighty has fallen!!!

Prof. Pat Utomi wrote :

I watched the South African elections and wondered what Mahmood Yakubu and INEC thought of it and of themselves.

Then I watched Ramaphosa of South Africa sign up on a government of National Unity and I wondered if those who captured power in Nigeria were watching.

How do they benchmark.

Now I am watching Kenya’s William Ruto on the world stage in Switzerland as the face of Africa. The political class of 1999 seem to have completed the humbling of Nigeria with the loss of a sense of shame as Nigeria takes a back seat to their self love.”

At the just concluded G7 summit in Italy… Kenya’s president was conspicuously in attendance. Pushing harder for Africa (Not Kenya) to be recognized and all other international politics….

Whereas Nigeria was busy reciting the New-old National anthem and planning on the Next election.

Only if shame is a name….

Nigeria…. A case study.

Again i ask, as Edo State begins yet another gubernatorial election…. Has anything been done on the bizarre electoral laws and shenanigans that made Mahmood Yakubu switch of the IREV without repercussions?

Unfortunately, most people are already saying, it’s PDP’s candidate that would win as APC comes second with LP third..

That’s the fate of the Dysfunctional electoral system in Nigeria where people already guess who the system would make win not whom majority would vote for based on their pedigree and what their manifesto says..

The Grasshopper 🦗 is seriously burning 🔥 but the sycophants are hailing it for producing oil.
