2023: Lagos Voters Almost Hitting 7m – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State, says statistics show that the state currently has about seven million registered voters. Ogun declares Tuesday work-free for PVC registration

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has declared Tuesday, as a work-free day in the state as the deadline for registration of voters for the 2023 general elections comes to a close. It was really an unfortunate situation at Imo State as Thousands of permanent voters card ( PVC) were discovered buried underground in a gutter. INEC agrees to extend voters registration by 60 days

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has agreed to extend the ongoing continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise by 60 days. INEC’s initial deadline for voters’ registration was at the end of June 2022.
