The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, marked his 61st birthday with a colourful event at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom with so many dignitaries and fans in attendance.

You’d recall that Akpabio reportedly takes 800M from Senate account, rakes 150M from Donations for his birthday that happens today.

Public servant : someone employed by someone (Nigerians) to serve them via elections abi?…. In Nigeria, Public servants are not servants actually but PUBLIC KING…
Majority of those at that stadium don’t understand that Akpabio should be their servant…. Yes, servant who isn’t supposed to be such flamboyant with such unfortunate Profligacy…

This may not be directly related to Akpabio’s lavishing birthday gig but a call for reflection on how we rever these politicians….
This is a country where the citizens are dying due to avoidable poverty…
