Over the weekend, so many dignitaries stormed the wedding reception of daughter of Uju Ifejika, one of the most successful female oil magnate in Africa, and 6th most successful female oil magnate in the whole world.

Who is Actually this Uju Ifejika?

Catherine Uju Ifejika (born 28 October 1959) is a Nigerian lawyer and Chairperson/CEO of Brittania-U Nigeria Limited (BUNL); an indigenous petroleum company for upstream exploration and production, and Brittania-U Ghana Limited (BUGL).[1] She is believed to be one of the six most powerful women in oil and gas in the world[2] and one of the richest women in Africa.[3][4] She has received both national and international awards for best practices in business leadership.[5]

Brittany Chinenye, the daughter of Catherine Uju Ifejika, CEO of Brittania-U Nigeria Limited, an indigenous petroleum company for upstream exploration and production, and Brittania-U Ghana Limited, BUGL, tied the knot with Chinedu Atanmo, her partner.

The wedding ceremony, which was held over the weekend at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, was graced by various dignitaries, cutting across politics and entertainment.

Some of the high-profile personalities present at the event include Kashim Shettima; Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party at the 2023 general election and Alex Otti , Abia state governor.

Other celebrities include Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife; Chris Ngige, former minister of labour and employment, lawyer Mike Ozekhome. Also present were Senator Daisy Danjuma; Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, First lady of Lagos state; and Wale Edun, minister of finance; Hajia Titi Abubakar; Ado Bayero; Arthur Eze, Olu Okeowo, Cosmas Maduka, etc.
