His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi who was at the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC worker’s day celebration in Abuja was greeted to a boisterous cheer as he addresses the Labour unions.
Peter Obi who came in alongside the authentic Labour party National Chairman, Bar. Julius Abure, his chief campaign spokesperson, Dr. Yinusa Tanko took a little time to address the unions. He recognizes himself as a worker who would always identify himself with workers and share in their struggles.
“A worker deserves to be treated fairly and made to work under good working environment, “he said.
He didn’t forget to remind them that Nigeria would definitely move from consumption to production under his leadership.
After his speech,”Obi, Obi, Obi” chants filled the atmosphere as usual.
