Part. 5

Welcome to the final part of our report today …

See the part 4.. #PEPTLiveUpdates : Part 4 of the Petition Tribunal

Ok, let’s continue..

INEC, APC and Tinubu’s lawyers all opposed and stated they would give reasons in the final address.

Justice Tsammani: 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom are hereby admitted as evidence and marked as exhibit PN1 to PN31

SAN Emeka: That would be all my lord. SAN Livy: My lord without prejudice, I think we are done for today and we are very ready to come tomorrow.

Justice Tsammani: So you’re seeking for adjournment

SAN Livy: No my lord, I am not seeking for adjournment my lord. I am only saying since our time for today is over, let us reconvene for Monday.

Justice Tsammani: There is court date tomorrow. I am sure you saw our pre trial report.

SAN Livy: My lord, I am ready to come tomorrow if you want to come tomorrow.

INEC: My lord, please we have been going back to back through out the week, let us reconvene for Monday.

Tinubu and Shettima: My lord, we are facing 3 petitions at the same time for over 9 hours, let us reconvene on Monday without prejudice my lord.

APC: My lord, some of us have other things to do and to show other people that we are still doing their work. Even the people who started this wahala court (pointing to LP lawyers) want to reconvene.

Justice Tsammani: So you want to go to other places? Where are the other places.

APC: My lord, I want to go to Church.

Justice Tsammani: This would take out of your time.

SAN Livy: When my learned counsels spoke to me about this in the morning, I told them I will only agree if it’s without prejudice. Without Prejudice.

Justice Ugo: It would go out of your time because tomorrow is part of your time.

INEC: My lord, we are pleading for tomorrow, let us reconvene on Monday.

Tinubu: My lord for the first time, we are all in accordance and we have all agreed to reconvene on Monday and not tomorrow without prejudice.

SAN Livy: I will only agree if it is without prejudice.

Justice Bolaji: I hope you understand that if tomorrow is out of it, it would go out of your time. We are working strictly with time.

SAN Livy: Then we are ready to come tomorrow my lord.

Justice Tsammani: We would look into it.

SAN Livy: If only it is without prejudice

Justice Bolaji: It would be out of their 3 weeks allocated time.

Justice Tsammani: That is the stand.

SAN Livy: Then I don’t accept. See you all in court tomorrow.

Justice Tsammani: okay then SAN Livy: I have just been informed by my colleagues your honour that it would not affect us or waste our time if we skip tomorrow

Justice Bolaji: Then it would be part of your 3 weeks then

SAN Livy: No problem, we are ready with the time already allocated. At this point all the counsels of INEC, APC and Tinubu are thanking SAN Livy for accepting.

APC lawyers stood up to shakeSAN Livy

APC: We are very exhausted, thank you my colleague for pitying us today, we owe you Everyone is laughing.

Justice Tsammani: The court is thereby adjourned to Monday 5th June 2023.

Justice Adah: I hope we will continue in agreement like this and in love from Monday.

APC: Tell it to the people that started it.

It was a great day today!!!

The secretary has just announced that from next week Labour Party’s case would be from 2pm while PDP would be from 9am. So the timing is now interchanged.
