The Independent Service Delivery Monitoring Group (ISDMG) has expressed dissatisfaction over the near absence of security operatives in the just concluded Anambra Central Senatorial District rerun.
Addressing newsmen after the election, the Executive Director of the group, Dr. Chima Amadi, called for proper investigation of the claims by the police which said it deployed over 4,000 officers for the election.
He said preliminary findings indicated “gross inadequacy of security agents in many of the polling units visited”, a development he said exposed the electorate to unforeseen danger.
