We checked Bayo for a pulse and thankfully it was there though very faint. We rushed him into our car and Drove him to the nearest hospital.
After examining Bayo, the doctor told us he was drugged with a very dangerous chemical and his body reacted badly to it, he has been comatose for 3days without food or water that’s why he had weak pulse. After speaking with the Doctor, I went to Bayo’s ward to check on him. Richard and christy went home to freshen up.
I sat beside him and watch him sleep. His face has gained some color since the drip was administered to him. He looked white and pale when we brought him here.
I prayed silently in thanksgiving to God for sparing his life. I held his hand and fell asleep. I woke up when I felt someone touching my hair. Bayo was awake and smiling at me. I was so relieved that tears of joy fell down my face. “How are you feeling now” I asked him. “Never better” he replied. “Liar” I said. He wiped the tears from my face and said “sorry I made you cry”. “Its not your fault, you went through all these because of me” I replied.

Bayo wanted to say something but I saw he was tired and sleepy, so I just told him to rest that I would be right there when he wakes up. So he slept. I went through the event of that day in my head.
Who is this person that is after me, how did they know where to find me and who told them about my dads deposit box. Someone close has to be involved. “But who” I wondered. I suspected mr christopher knows something other than what he told us but he seemed scared of someone.
He looked really scared the last time I sawhim. Could it be he was scared of the evidence we would find in the safe or he was scared because someone threatened him?
Either way he knows more than what he told us and I would have to find out. But first Bayo need to tell me about his abductors maybe we might get a clue on who is behind all this attacks.
Bayo woke up again after 4hours, he looked refreshed and stronger. Richard and christy were with me when he woke up. “Hey guardian angels” he greeted. “I can see you are now your usual self man” said Richard. We all laughed.
I asked Bayo to recount the event that lead to his abduction.
He began ” when I left you that night, I headed back to the hospital. I got there safely and yinka’s arm was bandaged up but looked fine. So I told mum and yinka to get ready so I could drop them at home because mum dos’nt drive atnight. But mum insisted that yinka spend the night at the hospital to make sure she was totally out of danger and that she would drive yinka to school the next morning.
I offered to take mum home with me but she insisted on staying with Yinka so I left the hospital for my car. Its was very late at night, I got to my car but before I could open the car door. Three men pinned me down. And I felt a sharp pain as a needle was inserted into my hip. Not too long, I grew limp, I could not move any part of my body. I was paralyzed and gradually I blacked out. But before I lost consciousness I heard a familiar voice say “No harm should come to him” I can’t say for sure if its a male or female speaking but the voice sounded like a voice I knew. It could also be that the drugs played tricks with my ear” Bayo finished his story.
“We have to visit mr christopher andforce the truth out of him. He is hiding something” christy said. “Not yet” I told everyone, “the key I used to open the safe has a twin. I think there is another deposit safe box because there is two similar keys but only one key opened the safe. The other key should be for another safe. I have to go back and check it out” I announced.
Bayo refused “I’ll go with you, it might be too dangerous for only you to go. If they happen to have the wrong documents they might be waiting in ambush for you.
Sit down relax and take a position till i blink again..
