[dropcap]I[/dropcap]gbo-Ukwu is a Town in Aguata Local government Area in Anambra state. A renowned town notably known for archeology and artifacts. Simply put, “archeological home for all igbos” .
The youths of this wonderful Town came together to form a formidable Youth wing known as “Igbo-Ukwu Youth forum, IYF” on the 9th of May, 2016. Hence, they are celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a hearty cheers.
Brief formation History
This forum was pioneered by
1-Elochukwu Ezeolisa (Head administrator) From Ezihu village Igboukwu
2-Chinedu Fransico Ezeh ,from Etiti village
3-Chisom mmadueke ,from NGO village.
The Vision of the forum is to unite the youths together via one umbrella from where their voice would reverberate.
Among other visions were,
1- to promote peace and unity amongst our youths.
2- create an avenue where youths can come together share ideas and help one another
3- to promote the culture of Igboukwu.
4- to work for the progress of Igboukwu.
Some of the prominent members that helped nurture this group are thus:
Echezona ibezim, Chinedu Fransisco, Chisom mmadueke, Franklin, Elochukwu, Ifeanyi Ekemezie, Dubem Michael, Chinelo (Chybaby)
However, top of the achievements of the baby forum were ;
organising of a get together/meeting on the 29th of Dec, 2016. for the youths which was its very first offline meeting, and the members getting to known each other .
In the year 2017 , they started projecting the forum higher.
Before the middle of 2017,
They began to create chapters
On 9th August 2017,
Igboukwu youth forum Lagos chapter was created. By miss OLUCHI

On 9th August 2017 ,Onitsha branch was also created by Umeike Uchenna

On 28th September, 2017
Igboukwu youth forum Portharcout was created by Akachukwu Okoli

On 20th January 2018, Owerri branch was created by Sylver Edwin

On 11th January 2018, Enugu branch was created by Elochukwu Ezeolisa

Abuja was created by Chukwuka Ezeike
Home branch was also created, January 2018 by Chikezie Chinazum
On 3rd June 2015 , Igboukwu youth forum Aba Branch was created.By Elochukwu Ezeolisa ,
Note, Aba Branch existed before the Creation of Igboukwu youth forum..
On 3rd January 2018 ,the forum organized a get together party for the youths both home and abroad at breezer hotel Igboukwu
Which recorded a massive turn up of youths in attendance.
That’s where they are now and hoping to achieve more and do greater exploits.
