The news of Erisco Foods Vs Chioma Okoli’s Battle that eventually Made it to CNN news has taken a new twist.

You’d recall that, the CEO of Erisco foods, maker of Tomato Puree, Chief Eric Umeofia has been in court with the embattled Chioma Okoli for a review of one of his products she made on her Facebook page.

Ever since, Eric Umeofia vowed never to back down from prosecuting Chioma Okoli.

However, Nigerian Netizens had taken it also upon themselves to make sure the public boycotted the Product for so many reasons.

Recently, Netizens have also noticed that ERISCO FOODS has changed the PRODUCT name but not without some noticeable mistakes.

The chief crusader of the #BoycottEriscoFoods, Oluchi known as General Oluchi on X (Twitter) made this comments below :

“Chioma and her lawyer will be in court again on Tuesday for the case with Erisco Foods “EFL.” That woman has been through a lot and there are so many painful details I can’t share here — it’s not my story to tell, but just so you all know, Eric will pay for all these someday.

The longer Eric Umeofia keeps this case in our memories, the harder it is to forget that:

1. His product lacks proper labeling.
2. He can’t call a tomato mix with sugar, salt, corn flour and coloring “100% natural.”
3. He violated all human rights known to man by petitioning the police to arrest and detain a pregnant woman whom he now accused of running a crime syndicate — without evidence.

4. Now he’s out with a new brand “TomaGood Tomato Mix” with no nutritional facts or production address since Nagiko has been boycotted.

So yeah, even if I want to ignore him, I just can’t get past these. Therefore, we will always meet here every eke market day.

Has Erisco Foods Limited rebranded and nicodemously pushed this hideous brand into the market? “EFL” sounds like Erisco Foods Limited. The cover design, ingredients and location on “Toma Good” is identical to Nagiko Tomato Mix.

They are both produced in Ikeja, Lagos.

I smell Eric Umeofia here! 😏

If it doesn’t belong to Eric, why did @NafdacAgency approve a product without an address?
