The former speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has come open to make some statements behind the candidacy of Peter Obi and President Muhammadu Buhari’s sudden U-turn to suggest Tinubu of APC with his Muslim/Muslim ticket to Nigerians.
Yakubu Dogara who prio to the presidential campaign had to split with Babachir Lawal, former secretary to the state of the Federation and also a fellow Christian. He pitched tent with Atiku Abubakar of the PDP as Babachir Lawal pitched with Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour party.

Dogara who was a keynote speaker during the Arewa Christian Indigenous Pastors Association, ACIPA’s day of prayers, awards and book dedication/launch at Evangelical Church of West Africa, ECWA in Jos, Plateau State, weekend, urged Nigerians to reject the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“As for the Labour candidate, I don’t have much to say about him because I don’t know him and that’s what scares the day light out of me. At the level I have operated in Nigerian politics, I am supposed to know a number of things about him but regrettably, that is not ”I would, therefore, leave those marketing his candidature to tell us who he is, what he has done for us in the past and how he intends to build on it when he becomes president”.
Yakubu Dogara has also slammed Buhari via his twitter handle after Buhari made a sudden U-turn to suggest Tinubu to Nigerians. He described it as a satire.
“I know that PMB loves to crack jokes but I didn’t know he will escalate it to the level of satire.Asiwaju ll give his best to Nigeria,really? Fake certificates,fake parentage,golden triangle escapades,racketeering. No PMB, Nigeria does not deserve his best but we get the satire.”
