#COVID-19 : Kano residents lament as Ganduje seemingly Abandons them

Amidst the massive death toll recorded in kano state within few days, the people of kano are being forced to express their fears and disappointment with their government and even the presidency.

It would be recalled that Kano state gave Muhammadu Buhari the highest vote during the presidential election and hence, they expected the presidency to reciprocate that act of kindness by probably coming to live with them or at least, send the 15 Chinese experts that arrived the country few weeks ago…..

Some argued that the State Governor, Ganduje has abandoned them in such a perilous time as the Governor kept releasing and confirming some incongruous test results from his hiding place.

He has allegedly asked for the sum of N15B to help fight Covid-19 in his state and maybe he is keeping malice with the Presidency for the refusal.

This is such a sad and pathetic situation that the people of Kano are currently facing.

Maybe, the State governor is only following the beautiful and courageous steps of Buhari who has defiantly refused to talk to Nigerians in such a period but reappears after the elapse of each 14 market days to record another long poem and inform them of another 14days lockdown……

Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has incredibly shown how a proactive governor should be in the face of a war like COVID-19……… Though, he might not have got every of his expected actions correctly especially in the area of palliatives distribution but he is far better of his colleagues.

See some of the tweets of kano people regretting of ever voting in Buhari and Ganduje as their President and Governor respectively….
