Comprehensive Secondary school Nawfia, Alumni set of 2003 holds her Easter Reunion (pictures)

The “2003” alumni set of  comprehensive secondary school, Nawfia in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state had their Easter Reunion/meeting held at Ukpo, Anambra state which had most of the members from most part of the country in attendance.

In his opening remark, the president of the association, Engr. Echezonam Ibezim Jk praised the members in diospora who have been of immense support to the association since inception. He also thanked the members residing across the country for being ever ready to support the association whenever need arises.

The newly elected executives of the association expressed their satisfaction over the successive growth in the association’s numeric strength as they reeled out some agenda to be embarked on within the year.  Top of the agenda was some CSRs and visitation of the members to some of their teachers who have long retired and grown old.

The members of the association would be celebrating their “20th anniversary” of graduating from the school next year which they intend to make so loud to the glory of God as most of them are now Engineers, medical Doctors, lawyers, artisans, successful business men, politicians etc.

Highlights of the occasion was an award presentation to the immediate past executives of the association, headed by Obinna Ihejirika for the wonderful work they did for the association.

In solidarity, they enjoined other sets of the prestigious secondary school to pluck a leaf and make the General Alumni body of comprehensive secondary school Nawfia a force to reckon with in Nigeria.
