Commuters plying Ore-Benin highway were stranded as villagers stage heated riot on the Federal highway.
According to an eye witness that sent the report to Jkcyno’s blog, the comatose started last week as the community youths started some demonstration to vent their anger as a result of power outage for years and counting as experienced in their community. All their plea to the authorities for power to be restored to them fell on deaf ears and they decided to follow the hard way.
Things got out of hand and men of the Police arrested 40 of them and subsequently detained them.
However, the village chiefs and other youths in a reprisal attack decided to bring to a halt every motorable activities via their town.
