As for the case in Anambra…
The case was first treated as a mild malaria unknowingly at Regina-Caeli hospital, he left and went to Onitsha, before returning to Adazi-Nnukwu hospital where it was fully suspected to be Covic-19, after exhibiting the symptoms. Result came in and it was positive. He was already in town before Asaba lockdow.
The scary part is the fact that that the Patient is on the run having sensed what was going on after the doctor asked him to wait.
The state epidemiologist collected sample on Tuesday and it was confirmed . The supposed infested patient is a native of Adazi who came in from Lagos.
But the danger is that the confirmed case, stayed in Anambra for about three weeks moving around freely and must have touched many persons.
Anambra submitted 9 test and one came out positive.
Other results are yet to come out as the state is most likely to have more cases tomorrow.
Over 200 contacts have been traced to him at the mean time.
