APC Moles in Labour party trying to scuttle Election Petition – Dayo Ekong (video)

All eyes on the Labour party as their legal cases across the progress.

Aside Peter Gregory Obi who’s contesting the presidential result, Chijioke Edeoga of Enugu is contesting as well.

However, this post is about the Lagos State Labour party and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and the State Chairman of the party, Pastor Dayo Ekong.

Read below :

1)The whole world is leaving witnesses to the flagrant abuse and wicked activities of some former members of the national working committee of labour party in the persons of Arabambi Abayomi and Samuel Oyelekan Akingbade in meddling provocatively in the affairs of labour party in Lagos state.

2) The party addressed the press two days ago through the secretary where we narrated how Abayomi and Akingbade have been going around the election petition tribunal sittings in the state to nefariously supplant our legal counsels with their APC moles. They have even gone to the point of mobilizing thugs to pose as members of the party to stand as witnesses against labour party in the proceedings of the tribunal.

This is the height of rascality and ignoble bringandage I want to vehemently say at this juncture that we will no longer tolerate this recklessness and the rascality of these individuals who have shown the whole world that they and their cohorts are working for APC both in their private and public lives.

3) Let me reinterate that Abayomi Arabambi is no longer a member of the labour party having been expelled from the party long ago. In like manner, Oyelekan Akingbade stands suspended from the party and as such the duo do not have any legal ground to represent the party.

in any capacity labour party will embark on the legal process to bring these shameless characters to book
4) Going forward, labour party will take all necessary legal means to cut them and their partners in mischief to size.

It is now very clear that they are enemies of good governance. We therefore are saying to these rascals “enough is enough”
5) Furthermore, I as the state chairman of labour party Lagos state is daily being inundated with calls from our numerous supporters seeking

clarifications on the frivolous and mischievous post authored by the bitter Abass Ibrahim, the former legal adviser of the party in Lagos state.

6) In the said post, Abass erroneously alleged that myself and the secretary of the party encouraged one Ifeanyi Ukachukwu in Ojo

to file a matter in court against the HOR member elect in the person of Hon. Seyi Sowunmi.

7)No matter can be farther from the truth in this situation. May I, say here that neither Mr Ifeanyi nor Hon. Sowunmi brought the issue to me prior, during and after the matter.

was disposed off by the court. How on earth can one accuse me of a matter I didn’t know of it’s existence? Nobody sought for my input or approval over the matter.I challenge the parties to counter this assertion.

8) Let me state here that this same Abass is the one that decided.

to align with Arabambi and Akingbade to destroy labour party immediately his tenure as the legal adviser was not renewed.

9)The same Abass has been fingered in the publication of a fake and embarrassing letter on the eve of the gubernatorial election.

wherein it was stated that Fagbemi Awamaridi was the party’s governorship candidate of the party and not Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour. In the said publication, the state secretary’s signature was forged. The party will do everything legally possible to get to the root of this matter.

10) Let me say here again that we as a party will take a punitive and decisive action albeit within the ambits of the law and in strict adherence/compliance to the constitution of our party against anyone that stands on our way in this effort to sanitize the party.

There must be a stop to this lawlessness, indiscipline, flagrant acts of disrespect to the constituted authority in the party. No one is bigger and no one is equally indispensable in labour party.

11)We are by this sounding a note of warning to all who claim to be members

of the party to abide by the rules of the party in their official conducts. We can no longer co-habitate with enemies of the party in the same house.

12)We are committed to building a strong and model formidable labour party in Lagos state in line with the instructions

of the presidential candidate of our party.

13) We know that the mission of these internal enemies is to scuttle our efforts in reclaiming our stolen mandates nationwide. To this I assure all that they will fail woefully to their eternal shame.

14)I urge all members of the party to remain calm and continue to support the state leadership of the party here in Lagos. Together we will bring forth a ” new Nigeria” of everybody’s desire.
Thank You.

Labour party!!! Forward ever!!!!
