The News of Some sections of the Supreme Court Complex On Fire (video) this morning has garnered several reactions from Nigerians as some have given their own analysis especially after the explanation from the Supreme Court spokesperson, Festus Akande (Another Festus again?)…. ( Festus Okoye, Festus Keyamo and now Festus Akande … 😂)

Let’s start with Dr. RUBEN ABATI’S statement on Arise tv this morning.
It was Reuben Abati that broke the news during their morning show. However, he made some statements that didn’t sit well with most Nigerians.

He said, “we have moved from All eyes on the Judiciary to, ATTACK ON THE SUPREME COURT”.
How did Reuben conclude immediately that it was an attack? By who?.. These are the few questions he may need to answer… (over sabi… He always has a way of watering down on important issues… Trivialize it as he did this morning when Shettima’s insensitive remark on his classmate was raised…)

Before the end of the show, The spokesperson of the Supreme Court, Festus Akande was live on Arise tv news where he granted initial situation interview.
The Spokesperson of the Supreme Court, Festus Akande dismissed this allegation while speaking in an interview on Arise Television on Monday.
Akande stated, “Since it wasn’t a serious issue, there was no point in evacuating people. The staff were fully on the ground and they moved in to douse the fire.”
Recall that a section of the Supreme Court was on fire on Monday morning.
The Supreme Court Public Relations Officer noted that the cause of the fire was electrical from one of the Chambers of the Justices and was put out with the use of fire extinguishers.
Akande added that the stories making the rounds on social media that there are casualties are “fake news”.
According to reports, the cleaners on duty and some of the workers who resumed work early detected the fire and raised the alarm.
The workers were said to have used the fire extinguishers in the building to combat the fire.
Three offices, including that of Justice Mohammed Saulawa, were affected by the fire.

My Analysis :
1. I have serious issues with all the Festus working with the Nigerian Government whenever they start with…. I can assure you…. Festus Okoye alongside his boss, Mahmood Yakubu assured Nigerians that BVAS and IREV have come to stay more than 500 times and still denied it thereafter….
2. Festus Akande was quick to say, it was electric gadget that caused it, that fire 🔥 of such happens always and everywhere, so this can’t possibly be an issue….. How did he come up with explanation of the Possible cause so fast? Without investigation?
3. He made it look like the fire 🔥 was a minor one, meanwhile, a complete office was razed down…
4. The fire started by around 8am when all the staff were all at work…. Ok, that Supreme Court judge’s office that was razed down… Doesn’t it have any staff?
5. How come no one noticed the fire until it became such severe, and people were already at work?
6. He said all documents gutted still have soft copies at their e-library… Meaning, important documents were razed..
7. He told Rufai Oseni that they have CCTv cameras. One may think that the first recourse to this would be looking for the CCTv footages before concluding it was an attack by Reuben or electric fire by Festus.
In all of these….. Why now,?
