Several voices are beginning to sprout with the current unrest across the nation especially with the wake of massive looting of the COVID-19 palliatives stored in some parts of the nation.
A guest at the channels Tv sunrise program said it all as he did not only advise the youths but the government and the law makers as well.
In his very apt admonishing words, he urged the Youths to keep the momentum and Seize the power from the older generation whom he referred to as the 18th century leaders.
He frowned at the law makers who have continued to enjoy luxury whilst the people they claim to be representing keep being impoverished.
Ordinarily he said”, if the law makers are in good terms with the people they represent, they would have gone to their respective constituencies to speak to their youths to help abate the precarious situations over the nation.
You’d recall that a Senator’s house was Raided by Mobs in calabar (video) which was a direct evidence of the wide disconnect between the constituents and their representatives.
This is the time for the Youths to form their own political party and demand for every old leader with their analog leadership style eschewed. They should engage in active politics and demand for a true New Nigeria.
The time is now…
