EFCC is trending because they are being asked to investigate Peter Obi, Aisha Yesufu & Afenifere for embezzlement.
LP’s National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi described Peter Obi as a “political merchant” who orchestrates mismanagement of funds.
Arabambi raised an alarm, accusing Aisha, Ighodalo of working with PO to siphon party funds.
Accused Afenifere’s Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Akin Osuntokun, and Sola Ebiseni of looting ₦600 million in private accounts.
The committee led by the Former LP party chairman, Julius Abure then called on the financial commission and the office of the NSA, to swiftly probe Peter Obi, Aisha Yesufu, Itua Ighodalo and Afenifere, for the alleged misappropriation of campaign funds towering at ₦12billion and $15million.
ICYMI: Three days ago, Aisha Yesufu was accused of mismanaging Labour Party’s 2023 campaign funds, by Julius Abure.
Julius Abure who had been reportedly removed as party chairman, while addressing a committee set up to restore balance in the party used the opportunity exonerate himself from allegations of party fraud and funds mismanagement.
He said all party funds generated during the campaign were under the management of Aisha Yesufu and Pastor Ituah.
Himself and Labour Party didn’t interfere because they were more concerned about a victory, even the polling unit agents were paid by Aisha Yesufu. So, the allegations that he had misappropriated over ₦3.5billion of party funds are lies.

Recall, early this year in February. PIDOM revealed that Julius Abure had stolen party funds and will soon gather loyalist in the party to save his job after Peter Obi noticed the misappropriation.
PIDOM also posted documents of properties in Abuja etc that were newly acquired by Abure.
Days later, Julius Abure had a discreet meeting with certain party stakeholders , just as PIDOM had predicted. Subsequently, Abure was distastefully arrested.
The arrest came after Oluchi Opara, national treasurer of LP, accused Mr Abure of misappropriation of ₦3.5 billion party funds at a press conference in Abuja on February 12.
Now, Julius Abure is saying. It’s all fake. That he never mismanaged or stole any party funds. Because, they weren’t in his custody.
Adding that only Aisha Yesufu and Pastor Ituah Ighodalo (brother to PDP Edo Gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo), had access, as they were the only signatories to the account.
With this new revelation, opposition parties members are having a field day in peak bantering. Pressuring Mrs Aisha to make a statement.
At exactly 19:21, Aisha Yesufu gave an emphatic statement, simply; “🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣…” which we counted to be exactly 157. And later in return asked Abure to also account for the funds sent to LP main bank account. Which Arabambi has now tagged as “Obscure Truth”
Obidients were in her defense, stating that she made a detailed account of how the party funds was used. And LP was also tagged the first party to do this in Nigerian political history.
But, opposition still queried the authenticity of her statement.
Such a desperate and corrupt man, Julius Abure…..Lamidi Apapa is even better of this man…. Suddenly, TVC are the ones covering his press releases… Same TVC never covered Peter Obi or Labour Party’s movements and suddenly becomes Abure sure bet…. It leaves a lot to be imagined on whom is blowing the trumpet 🎺 behind…
