Orlu is trending because they want to make Orlu a state of its own in South East.
The bill has passed its first reading at the House of Representatives. It will be formed from parts of Imo, Abia , and Anambra states.
Umuchu, Ihiala, Uga, Uli, Ozubulu, Akokwa, Arondizuogu, Umunze, Orlu, Orsu, Ideato, Njaba, Isu, Oguta, Ohaji, others to come under new Orlu State.
South-East region currently has only five states, unlike other geopolitical zones in Nigeria, which have at least six states.
